Learn Online
I’ve been teaching (and taking) online lessons for over 15 years — well before the pandemic made it mainstream. Online learning has become a core part of my studio, offering rigorous, high-quality instruction to students across Australia and internationally.
My setup includes multiple camera angles (including an overhead keyboard view), high-quality audio, screen sharing, annotated scores, and other digital tools that make the experience every bit as effective as in-person lessons.
Why It Works
- Focused, efficient learning — clear goals, demonstration, and feedback in real time.
- Flexible scheduling — maintain consistency during busy periods or travel.
- Comprehensive resources — annotated scores, recorded sections, and weekly practice notes.
Ideal For
- Piano students — from beginners to diploma level, including hybrid (online + in-person) formats.
- Music theory and musicianship — ideal for completing grades entirely online.
- Exam and performance coaching — preparation for AMEB, ABRSM, or university recitals.
What You’ll Need
- A laptop, tablet, or desktop with webcam and stable internet connection.
- Access to your instrument, good lighting, and a quiet space for lessons.
- Optional: a second camera or smartphone for extra keyboard angles (setup guidance provided).
Whether you’re nearby or overseas, online lessons are a flexible, engaging way to learn piano, theory, or the Taubman Approach. All you need is a webcam — I’ll handle the rest.
